Quotes:

“Life wasn’t like fiction…Crazy things just happened, without the logic of fiction, then life went on as usual.”

My Thoughts:
Dean Koontz is yet another author that I truly adore for all his works. Some of his books are cheesy some are real kick-ass books, but I can definitely say that I liked all of them. His writing is simple, without the unnecessary BS, it's bone-chilling, fast paced and it takes you on a kind of emotional roller-coaster. He is Good. I especially like the way he ends every chapter, in a way that makes you turn the page and start reading another one, no time to take a break or put the book away for a while. That's what i call good writing!
Mr.Murder is relatively old book, being published in 1993 it's one of his older works. It tastes a bit like a classic thriller and I liked it for it. Reminded me in a way of old-school thriller movies I used to watch with my parents  as a teenager. The plot isn't overly sophisticated but the book was a good and enjoyable, fast and pleasant read. I liked it a lot!

Ahhh, this is an old review, but it caught my eye because I am a big fan of Dean Koontz. As a matter of fact, one of my most favorite novels happens to be by Dean Koontz, by the title of "Odd Thomas". This book is now being turned into a motion picture with Anton Yelchin playing Odd Thomas' character. I hope you're able to pick up Odd Thomas sometime, and I hope that you'll like it enough to merit it five stars, and that it will redeem Dean Koontz in any and all ways! :D

I LOVE Dean Koontz, but found that I sometimes only enjoy half of his work. Sadly, some just drag for me while others make me feel I can't turn the pages fast enough! But nevertheless, I love him and his work, and I would LOVE to read this one! :) Thanks for the review! :)

I like authors who stick to the specifics. Good books are often short and to the point.

I wish you had gone into more detail because I love your longer reviews.

I've been planning on reading more Deen Koontz this October, along with other "creepy" books. Would you say this one fits the bill or would another title by Koontz be more chilling as we lead up to Halloween? Thanks! =)
