Well, I've read 21 books (almost halfway!) for this challenge already, so I won't go into ALL of them, but I have read some really good ones. So far my favorites have been:
Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
The Hallowed Ones by Laura Bickle
Barbie Girl by Heidi Acosta
Eve & Adam by Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate
I'm reading (over :D) 50, and completed 9 of them.
I really liked: Vampires in America series, read only the first 2 books, but it's great!
Also liked an erotic romantic series I found out.
I have a question: if I only read ebooks, how can I complete the challenge?
Now, im reading Milion suns by Beth Revis:)
Hey Evie,
So far I've read 4 books and I'm just starting my 5th. I've read The Torn Wing by Kiki Hamiliton - which I loved. Sixteenth Summer by Michelle Dalton, Raw Blue & The Breakaway. Oh and Charade. Charade & The Torn Wing where my faves =)
Donna
Evie
You might notice you crossed a wire, Virginia Roth is author of Divergent!
I've read 8 books. Actually I've read more, but I didn't write the review in English. So, maybe later on.
I've read 11 so far and most of them were 4-5*.
1. Finding ELE
2. Kasadya Hellhound Awakened
3. Chasing Nikki
4. No Shelter Trilogy
5. Obsidian (A Lux Novel)
6. Hopeless
7. Grade 'A' Stupid
8. The Light Tamer
9. The Athena Effect
10. Dark Heirloom
11. Bone Dressing
First of: WAY TO GO, GUYS!!! You're doing so well this year!! :) So proud of you *hugs everyone*
@Aly - you can write the titles down on a piece of paper and then take a picture of it, would that work for you? :)
@Biondy, the review can be in any other language, too :) Or you can just write a short paragraph in English on Goodreads or Amazon and it will count as well! :)
@Kathryn, good point! I was half dead when posting this yesterday hahaha, it's all fixed now, thanks for pointing it out!
Happy reading all! :)
So far I have done rubbish and have only read 1 book (Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols) but I am also reading another now and should finish it in January.
Wow, you are all doing fantastic. Evie awesome job! I haven't read any yet, but I set my goal at the lowest since I failed last year. This is the only challenge I signed up for this year besides my GR reading challenge because my focus this year is to read more of what I want when I want. So far I am failing at that too lol. I take on too many review books and tours.
I've read 5 books so far but there's still time till the end for the month so I will read more...
And so far I've read:
1.Last Breath (The Morganville Vampires, #11) by Rachel Caine
2.Spell Bound (Hex Hall trilogy, #3) by Rachel Hawkins
3.Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider Guide by J.R. Ward
4.Heartless (Pretty Little Liars, #7) by Sara Shepard
5.Pride Mates (Shifters Unbound, #1) by Jennifer Ashley
And they were all pretty great. Especially Pride Mates which I just finished and I'm absolutely in love with it.
I have read 2 books so far and "Liked" them both.
(reviewed)The Hairdresser of Harare
(review coming soon)Even the Stars Look Lonesome
I think I will be doing 2 month. Or at least that is the plan.
Only read one so far. The perks of being a wallflower. LOVED it!!
I read only one book so far, which is fine, because my goal was 1 or 2books a month.
The book was Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter. It was a really great book.
Evie, that is impressive! I finished 3, but have 3 more on the go that will be finished by the end of the month. Less reading time since Nick went back to work and I am sorely outnumbered! ;)
Evie, I wrote 2 reviews in my natal language, romanian. I hope it's all right.:)
Oh, and I've read:
1. Finding Alice
2. Harry Potter 5
3. Harry Potter 6
4. Ordinary Magic
I loved all of them! <3
I have only read one book so far but I am hoping to change it very soon.
I've only managed to read 2 so far because I've mostly been reading review books - The Perfect Hope by Nora Roberts and The Demon Lover by Juliet Dark. They were both really good!
Marie @ Ramblings of a Daydreamer
Evie it would be perfect, or, if you want, I could make a collage of the covers.
I read Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick and Team Human. Finale put me into my first reading slump, EVER, and Team Human got me out of it.
Hey, I guess we're supposed to leave the links for the book spine poem challenge here in the comments?
anyways, here's mine:
http://awesomemonica.blogspot.com/2013/01/book-spine-poem-challenge-for-2013-tbr_22.html
I need to make a start on this challenge and stop reading new books!
I'm excited for the Delirium read-along :)
I've read 2 books so far, a bit of a slow start, but that's alright :)
I read Nice Girls don't have Fangs by Molly Harper and The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox (review to come), they were both great reads and funny too.
I have finished two and a half books. I plan to pick up the pace Dx
Here is my book spine poem~

I've read 10 books so far and I really really love most of them. Some of the books I read this January are The Girl of Nightmares, Easy, Beastly, Ten, Cinder, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
I read Every Day by David Levithan and I really enjoyed it! The whole time I was reading it I couldn't put it down. I mean the concept of waking up in a different body every day is just crazy!
Here is the link to my book spine poem:

I've read two books so far for this challenge, and I enjoyed them both!
A Christmas Carol
Marked
So far i've read 4 and reviewed ( posted) 3: storm, elemental and ascension. i'm really happy those and the 4th wasn't bad either so i'm motivated to go on i just need more time to read ( and not to be sick, because of that i lost one week of reading time)
So far I've only read Cinder by Marissa Meyer but it was so amazing! :D
Thanks for hosting this challenge and giveaway! I've only counted two books so far - Honey for the Bears and America B.C. - both of which were okay.
I've only done three so far:
Elemental - 3 Stars
City of Dark Magic - 4.5 stars
Frost - 5 stars
I've only been reading 2 books so far since I got sick and hospitalized. But I enjoyed both of the books so much!
I read Magical Seira 1: Seira and the Legend of Madriva by Sitta Karina (an Indonesian fantasy novel) and Shut Out by Kody Keplinger.
Read about twelve... only reviewed three. Yay for procrastination. I'm aiming for A Friendly Hug (11-20) so I'm well on track.
My three for this month are:
Opal by Jennifer L. Armintrout
Model Spy by Shannon Greenland
Paranormalcy by Kierstin White
-- Kate
I've read two toward the challenge and I'm on number three. :)
Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler
Currently Reading:
Prophecy of the Sisters by Michelle Zink
:)
B
I've finished Divergent but I haven't found the discussion for the 3rd batch of reading yet. Wondering if it's up somewhere yet and I haven't found it lol. Happy reading!
Megan @ Megz Madd Readz
I've read 11 books so far, which is pretty good in my book :D They are:
THE PLEDGE by Kimberly Derting
TIME BETWEEN US by Tamara Ireland Stone
SEEDS OF WAR by Rachel E. Fisher
SECRET OF THE SONGSHELL by Brian Tashima
NORMALISH by Margaret Lesh
INDIGO AWAKENING by Jordan Dane
PRETTY AMY by Lisa Burstein
SO CLOSE TO YOU by Rachel Carter
THROUGH TO YOU by Emily Hainsworth
SCARLET WOODS by Brooke Passmore
So far, liking them was like 50-50 for me. I liked THE PLEDGE, TIME BETWEEN US, SEEDS OF WAR, SECRET OF THE SONGSHELL, NORMALISH, and PRETTY AMY, but I didn't like INDIGO AWAKENING, SO CLOSE TO YOU, SCARLET WOODS, or THROUGH TO YOU as much. I also read TIGER LILY, INCARNATE, and IF I STAY but I haven't had a chance to review them yet! Currently I'm also reading WINGS OF ARIAN (:
Here is my book spine poem: http://i1338.photobucket.com/albums/o684/pinkindle/IMG_0166r.jpg
The stupid library sticker is covering part of the first line, so my poem says...
Through the ever night
Where dreams begin
Darker still
Unremembered
When we wake

My Book Spine Poem:
"The husband echoes the heartbreaker left behind from the corner of his eye."
Happy reading :)
-Megan @ Megz Madd Readz
So far I've only read one: Edenbrooke. I absolutely LOVED it! It was such a fantastic book.
I did the spin poem and I am not going to say it on this comment, because it is really long and I don't want to post a really long comment. Here is the link to my post.
http://kimberlysnovelnotes.blogspot.com/2013/01/tbr-reading-challenge-mini-challenge-1.html
I have read 6 books as of now, I am trying to get through all the series and trilogies I have.
So far I'm almost done the Vampire Academy series.
I've read two so far! The Red Knight, by K.T. Davies, which was a really good epic fantasy, avoiding a lot of the more annoying cliches of the genre. And The Case of the Good-Looking Corpse, by Caroline Lawrence, which is a children's mystery Western. That was amazing! :-)
Oh, and here is my Book Spine Poem :-)
The poem :D http://i.imgur.com/usZgJ0H.jpg
This is my first time doing this challenge so I am still learning.
I just finished Joy for Beginners by Joy Bauermeister. I loved it!
I read 5 books this month & liked them all quite a lot: I gave Kresley Cole's Poison Princess & Isaac Asimov's Foundation 4 of 5 rating, Kimberly Pauley's Sucks to Be Me 4.5 of 5 rating & I gave Marissa Meyer's Cinder & Alice Clayton's Wallbanger 5 of 5 rating, so pretty great picks this month from my TBR :D
But, I only reviewed 2 of them, so I have a question, Evie - when I'll review the other 3 (which I plan to do these days) should I link them up here? Because I've read them in January, but I would've reviewed them in February.
I also plan to do the mini challenge soon, I love book spine poems :)
And how did you like Warm Bodies? It's one of my favs, I loved it even more when I re-read it a few months ago :)
So far I've only read 5 (almost 6) of the 30 I plan to read.
I hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers
The Lost Days by Rob Reger
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
I've only reviewed 1 but hopefully another one is coming up soon! I loved Under the Never Sky so that review is most likely going to be next.
This challenge is so fun!!! :)
I read A Tangle of Knots and The Van Alen Legacy, I enjoyed both fairly well I am still having a love hate relationship with the blue blood series though
I've read 7 for this month. It's good so far. I haven't reviewed some of them yet.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay
Glass Houses by Rachel Caine
The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden by Jessica Sorensen
Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
Sovereign Hope by Frankie Rose
The Reaping by M. Leighton
I managed to get 3 done this month, but I know I won't get them reviewed for quite a while, so I have to pass on the linking, but you can look at my review wrap up post if you like!
January Wrap Up
I dived into my TBR pile this month since for the two weeks I was unemployed. Knocked a good 12 books out total for the month! I started with choosing ones like The Golden Lily since the new book comes out soon. Then I went further back to ones like One Bite with a Stranger and even a one day read of What a Ghoul Wants!
Really I was kind of randomly picking books, grabbing ones I have had for too long, but there's still lots of old ones in those piles!
I've read only 3 books for January, I'm a really slow reader xD I read Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout and loved it! Can't wait to start book 2! I also finally finished up Witch Song by Amber Argyle, it was an alright book, it took me months to finish because I think I kept putting it down for other books. I also just read First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones and I definitely can't wait to continue this one! Loved it!
I've read six books so far for this challenge, and my favorite would have to be Blood Shadows by Lindsay J. Pryor. I also really liked The Stone Guardian by Theresa McClinton, who also just so happens to be one of the nicest authors I've ever had the pleasure of talking to!
Taylor
I read 11 books but only wrote a review for 7 so... :( I'll hopefully find more time in February xD
Fromt he books I read I fell in love with Vessel, Shift, Release and The Sea of Tranquility :]
I'm not good at all with English poetry but I'll try to come up with something xD
Hugs!
Hi! Here are my entries for the book spine poem challenge. :)
http://notjustnonsense.blogspot.com/2013/02/book-spine-poem-challenge.html
It was a very fun challenge and I'm looking forward to see what else you'll come up with.
Oh, almost forgot. For january I only reviewed four books for the challenge, but I read about 8, I think. February will be even better, hopefully. ;)
I've only read 8 books for the month of January from the books I listed for the TBR Pile Challenge but I just reviewed 2 since I still haven't got time but I'm planning to review all of them when I'm not so busy already. :)
Oh, I forgot to put the titles of the books I've read. Here are they:
1. City of Bones
2. City of Ashes
3. City of Glass
4. City of Fallen Angels
5. City of Lost Souls
6. Existence
Wait ... that's only 6?! O.o Oh my gosh! I'm wrong, I just only read 6 books. Sheesh. So stupid of me to miscount.
I'm not a fast reader, but I HAVE completed two books. I have reviews written, but they're not posted yet. They're coming soon, though! I finished Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. I'm also almost done with The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan. So many books!
Here's a link to my book spine poem!
I've manage to read 8books in January!
Quite an accomplishment for me considering I only managed 33 books last year. So yay! February is kicking off well too (:
Elaine
I managed to read 6 books from my tbr pile up until now, which is great (as my goal overall was to read 10!) I definitely found a favourite too in The Gathering Dark by Leigh Bardugo!
I've read 4 books of my TBR pile challenge.
Warm Bodies, --Loved
To the Nines, --Hilarious
Last Kiss Goodnight, ---A little weird, but good
and The Proposition--- Pretty good
All linked up!
I'm thinking I did it right. I asked on Twitter what to do since I use Goodreads. I left the URL for each of the reviews that count for this challenge and seperated with commas. Let me know if I did was wrong with how I did it!
6 books for January for the TBR Challenge!
I only got one book read and review in January. It was a bad month for me I got more read but the reviews didn't go up till February so I will have more links for then. I did get Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet read and reviewed and I loved it. I just love reading about Charley.
I've read a bunch of books for the challenge, but I've only reviewed 5 of them. The rest of the reviews will be coming soon. I really enjoyed the Vampire Academy books, but I'm loving Bloodlines :)
Hi! Here's my entry for the book spine poetry challenge. I had fun with this one. I hope there'll be more extra challenges to come. :D http://rabbitin.blogspot.com/2013/02/book-spine-poem-extra-challenge.html
Here's my extra challenge:
http://haraiah.blogspot.com/2013/02/2013-tbr-pile-january-extra-challenge.html
In January I read Divergent and Insurgent and enjoyed both of them. Didn't love them but they were both good reads.
I completed the challenge and put the picture in the Rafflecopter but forgot to comment about it. I hope it's not too late! Here is the link: https://twitter.com/mynotsovacant/status/300764589145088000/photo/1
