TBR Pile Monthly Read-a-Longs: Divergent by Veronica Roth (January)

Hello and WELCOME to TBR Pile Monthly Read-a-Longs with Rachelia from Bookish Comforts  and Yours, truly :)

January kicks-off out year-long (possibly even longer than that!) series of awesome and delicious TBR Pile Read-a-longs, specifically designed to help you (and us!) tackle our To Be Read piles (which, I'm sure, are ever-growing for you, too!).

Every month we will pick a book from our TBR Pile that we think it's (about freaking!) time to read :) Now, I don't know about you guys, but my piles are humongous! And there are some seriously epic books here that I am planning to finally read. If you, too, happen to have these books on your TBR piles, by all means, tag along and join the fun!

Every week we will get together and -over a cup of delicious coffee/tea -discuss what we've read! And at the end of the month we will have a wrap-up in which we'll share our favorite quotes, characters, moments in the book and a whole bunch of other (sometimes totally random) stuff!

So, don't hesitate and join our monthly Read-a-Longs (even if you already read the book we're reading, you can still drop by and share your thoughts with us!). We encourage you to take pictures with the book, write about the Read-a-Long on your blog, invite your friends, family members and co-workers (cause WHY THE HELL NOT?! these books are EPIC!) and tweet your thoughts, favorite quotes and anything that'll pop into your head while reading using #TBRRaL hashtag! At the end of the month I will look at all the quotes and randomly pick one winner of a book of choice from my ARC pile! (yes, you'll get to choose which one!). Can this get any more fun?! Well yeah! I will also compile the most awesome and creative tweets and post them in the TBR Pile Read-a-Long Hall of FAME! :)

Oooh, I'm looking forward to see what the future read along books will be! I read Divergent last year, and didn't really care for it, but I may read Insurgent this year.

Love it! That's one on my TBR pile list so this is perfect!

YES! You're finally reading this! I hope you enjoy it and I'll look forward to dropping by and commenting as well. I've never participated in a read along, so maybe I'll go out and buy a book sometime this year for one of the read alongs

I love that you are doing read alongs with the TBR pile challenge. It's a great idea. I already read Divergent so I won't be doing this read along. Have fun with it!! :)

Wish I could participate in this challenge as I want to re-read it before reading Insurgent.

Unfortunately I've got too large a TBR pile.

I will be following the Twitter # tag though.

I'm in :) I actually read Divergent last year, but I never got around to reading Insurgent, so a re-read as a read-a-long would be perfect :D

I just found out about this on Aleksandra's blog! I'm starting late, and I hope that's ok, so I'll need to catch up!!

Gutted I can't join in, I did a book swap for divergent but it never arrived! I'm guessing it isn't going to now :(

Haven't seen this week's questions yet. I'm still on track and starting the 3rd set of pages :)

I will just be following the twitter tag since I'm quite busy with reading my TBR pile also. And my Divergent book is in the hands of my classmate.
