Fashion review: Kiwuu PU Leather Cross-body Bag

Price: $15.99 on Amazon - buy here:

My thoughts:

I find this mini shoulder bag quite endearing. The design is, admittedly, pretty basic and the sewing, while visually appealing and good in quality, looks like something I should be able to do myself at home - simple stitch holding together various sized pieces of PU leather. The overall effect is pleasing, but not particularly impressive or complex.

Size-wise, this is smaller than my iPad Air (see photos for comparison), and can only hold one phone, up to 4 cards (I tried squeezing in more, but only one will fit into each card slot - they're pretty snuggly), and a couple more things, like passports or small notepads, and some paper cash (no coins, they would likely fall out). There are no zippers, only a small magnetic closure. The strip can be adjusted to desired length or completely removed (comes with lobster clasps).

This little bag is perfect for carrying just the essential things with you. I suppose it could fit a small set of keys and a pen as well, but because of the flat design, I imagine anything more bulky would make the bag bulge in the middle and look unattractive.

The material is nice quality and the color is warm, peachy pink - very pretty. There is a very nice, soft lining on the inside that is few shades darker than the leather itself.

Overall, this is a cute little bag, well-made and seemingly durable, and if you're looking for something small and girly to carry your phone and cards/cash in, this should fit your needs just fine.
