Baby Fashion: Chinese Qipao Princess Dress from Boutique Orient (Review)

Where to buy: Amazon ($19.99)
I absolutely love dressing my daughter up in pretty outfits, ribbons, tulle-skirts and dresses. She's half-Korean so she has a bit of that oriental thing going on, and I thought a Chinese Traditional Dress like this one from Boutique Orient would look really fabulous on her. And she really does look exceptionally cute in it!

I am really impressed with the quality of this dress. It's made of really high-end silk satin, which is very durable and non-stretchable. It's pretty thick and a bit on the stiffer side, but even on a warm day Victoria doesn't seem to get sweaty while wearing it. The dress has a nice bombshell shape, so the fit is very comfortable and airy. We got the one in size 2T-3T and it fits as expected - it's slightly big on my daughter, but it's perfectly normal, since she's only 16 months old right now.

As far as I can tell, the dress is very well made and durable. I didn't notice any seams coming apart or threads breaking. The outfit has many beautiful accents and looks very festive. The Chinese stand collar looks very nice and I really like the ruffles on the sleeves and at the bottom of the skirt. The dress comes with matching shorts that are  equally lovely.

Overall, this is a beautiful set. Your baby girl will look stunning in it!
