Mermaid & Myth: Mermaid Earcuff from Honeystore (Giveaway)

Earlier this year I got the opportunity to try and review some of the most gorgeous jewelry pieces I've seen in my life - Honeystore ear cuffs and a necklace. While the cross-shaped necklace is very nice and stylish, it's the ear cuffs that totally blew my mind to pieces - they are stunning! As part of the Mermaid & Myths event, I am giving away the gorgeous mermaid earcuff!

Beautifully designed, absolutely fabulous-looking Mermaid-shaped ear cuff. As far as statement jewelry goes, this is one of the most gorgeous pieces I've seen. It's paved with sparkly Czech diamonds in blue, black and white, and embellished with white pearls. The shape of it is wonderful, too, and it's not the heaviest ear cuff I've worn. It's actually light enough to wear for half a day, maybe even longer (which is considerably longer than most other ear cuffs I've had).

It's really well-made but delicate looking at the same time. Seems pretty sturdy, too. All the pieces are attached together in a way there is no risk of the diamonds or the pearls falling off.

It arrives packaged nicely in a blue jewelry box that will make a lovely gift wrapping. It's stylish and perfect for fans of mythology and mermaids.

Jewelry Review + Giveaway: Eye Candy Los Angeles

It's no secret that I love statement jewelry and Eye Candy Los Angeles is, in my opinion, the place to shop for truly beautiful and reasonably priced jewelry pieces and accessories. Their stuff is really fabulous. Their jewelry pieces really stand out - they're large, eye-catching, unforgettable and sparkly. And just all around wonderful!

Today, I get to share with you my reviews of two jewelry pieces from Eye Candy Los Angeles collection. I got the Sun and Moon earrings and the Stone Moon Necklace.

These earrings are real show stoppers. They're absolutely stunning. They're large and beautifully detailed, with different colored gemstones and zirconias.
I love that they are asymmetrical, that makes them so much more special and unique. The sun one is also slightly longer, which, admittedly, bothers me a little bit, but I don't consider this is a deal-breaker by any means. These earrings are just too magical to pass on.
Because of their size and the abundance of gemstones, they are a bit on the heavy side, so if you're not used to wearing large and heavier earrings, you are going to have to take it slow. I wore them on our Niagara Falls 4th of July trip and while I absolutely loved the look, by the end of the day I couldn't wait to take them off :) It's a matter of getting used to their weight thought. Now, I can wear them all day long and the extra weight doesn't bother me any more.

Stone Moon Necklace ($74)
I decided to get this necklace because I thought it would compliment the earrings very well, and of course, it does. It's a double chain necklace with a teal stone and a half-moon pendant.

The chain comes with a decent size lobster clasp and its length can be adjusted. It's a nice length for a low-cut dress, and I love wearing this necklace with my tribal print maxi dress.

The stone and the pendant are not too large, and therefore, not heavy at all. In fact, this is quite a delicate, lightweight and charming piece, and it balances out the over-the-top character of the earrings.

Jewelry/Fashion Review: Boho/Vintage style hair pins and porcelain bead bracelet

I wanted to share with you some vintage/boho style accessories I received for review recently. The porcelain rose hair pin and the Tibetan Buddhist porcelain bead bracelet were sent to me by JDZ Amulets, while the I got the set of 20 red rose hair pins from Rbenxia. Both of them are Amazon sellers specializing in accessories and jewelry.

Please let me know what you think about these accessories- do you like them? Check out the stores for more information!

These are so pretty! There are 20 pieces and they come in a small plastic tube with a lid, which I think is pretty nice for storing them. The pin is almost white silver color that contrasts nicely with the red color of the pins I got. The length of the pin is about 6 cm (pretty long) and there is a bit of wave in the midsection of it that allows the pin to stay in place better. The rose width is about 1 cm and the crystal is gorgeous - so shiny and eye-catching.

These are perfect for decorating your hair when you wear a bun or some sort of fancy up-do hairstyle. They are available in a nice variety of colors (10 different kinds!). If you're looking to add an extra bling-bling to your hairstyle for a special occasion like prom, wedding or any sort of party/celebration, these are perfect. The price is amazing for the set of 10 hair pins and the quality of them is definitely impressive. They look fabulous!

I absolutely love this Tibetan Buddhist prayer bracelet made with multi-colored porcelain beads. The bracelet is long enough for me to wrap it around my wrist three times. The string is elastic, so no matter your wrist size this bracelet will fit you well.

The porcelain beads are very pretty. They come in a wide variety of colors, from blues and purples, to yellows, orange and red, and they're all unique (not mass produced). The seller offers two other color options(green and red), but personally I think the multicolored bracelet is the most beautiful one.

This bracelet would make a very nice accessory to a vintage/boho kind of outfit. I love wearing it with my bohemian style shirts and my brown tribal pattern maxi dress - it helps create a stunning look!

Retro Vogue Rose Flower Bronze and Porcelain Hairpin ($8.83)
This is, hands down, one of the most beautiful hair pins I have ever owned. It's so beautifully designed and so classic looking, I love pinning my hair to the side with it. It's a very stunning accessory and it looks more like a vintage jewelry piece than just a hair pin. I wish these pins were sold in sets of two, but even just one of them is enough to make you look feminine, fabulous and unique.

The length of the pin is about 2.1 inch and the clip has a strong, tight grip on your hair. The texture is not 100% smooth or glossy, which makes the pin stay in place. The porcelain roses are really pretty - colorful and with a nice, shinny varnish on top, they're very stylish and girly.

Overall, I think this is a well-made, vintage looking hair pin well worth the almost $9 it costs. It looks like something from a whole different era and has a hand-made feel that is hard to find in other pins. I really like it!

Jewelry/Fashion Review: oBo Creations (Etsy Store, Enamel Jewelry)

Hi guys! Today I have the utmost pleasure of sharing with you my review of OBO Creations enamel necklace. OBO Creations is an Etsy store located in Geneva, Switzerland and their jewelry pieces are not only breathtakingly gorgeous and colorful, but most importantly hand-made and created with incredible attention to detail! I was beyond blown away by the necklace I received for this review and couldn't wait to post about it!

Royal Blue Orchid Enamel Necklace ($72.25)
Product detail:
- material: matte gold metal with 16k high quality gold plating.
- hand-painted with unique patterns
- tarnish resistant
- chain length: 42 cm (16.2 inch)
- flower size: less than 1 cm
- matching bracelet and/or earrings available per request
- comes with beautiful gift wrapo
This hand-painted gold plated necklace is truly a piece of art. Olga, the founder and owner of oBo Creations, is definitely incredibly talented and her attention to detail is mind-blowing. The necklace is very unique, one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that will make you stand out everywhere you go. The flowers are gorgeous! With light green and royal blue petals that are sculptured to catch and reflect the light creating a gradient of color, they are beyond beautiful and mesmerizing. The texture of each petal is unique, no two petals are the same.

The chain has a deep gold color that works really nice with the flowers. The length is adjustable and it comes with a lobster clasp that seems pretty sturdy. I like the texture of the chain - it's not completely smooth, there are small ridges throughout that match the overall design really well.

This necklace is part of Olga's nature inspired collection - in her Etsy store you will be able to find many more stunning and eye-popping pieces in a variety of shapes and colors. They're all eye-candies, incredibly colorful, vivid and fashionable. I highly recommend checking out her creations - you won't be able to resist them!

Jewelry Review & Giveaway: Stunning statement jewelry pieces from Honeystore

I recently got the opportunity to try on and review some of the most gorgeous jewelry pieces I've seen in my life - Honeystore ear cuffs and a necklace. While the cross-shaped necklace is very nice and stylish, it's the ear cuffs that totally blew my mind to pieces with their beauty - they are stunning! Please be sure to check out Honeystore, they have even more fabulous statement jewelry pieces in their store and they often run promotional discounts so you can snatch them at really nice prices!

Today I get to share my reviews of the three jewelry pieces I received and host a contest for you! Who doesn't love a little bling-bling in their life? :)

This is truly an absolutely stunning ear cuff! It's one of the most gorgeous statement jewelry pieces I've seen. It's so beautiful, eye-catching, sparkly and glamorous, you are guaranteed to make a lasting impression wherever you go wearing it.

Size wise, it covers your earlobe almost completely. It's pretty big and, admittedly, heavy, so it took me some time to get used to it, especially since the weight is on your left ear only. I wouldn't wear it for longer than a couple hours at a time, simply because my ear would start hurting, but it's just so lovely for a party or some special event that won't last longer than few hours!

The piece is extremely well-made and very detailed, with different colors of petal-shaped crystals. You can secure it in place by inserting the bottom stud through your regular earring hole, and tightening the clasp on the top side of your earlobe. It stays in place nicely and doesn't even budge. Be careful not to catch it on a piece of clothing or a scarf, as it would probably hurt a lot to have it yanked out.

Overall, I love this ear cuff. It's chic, glamorous, classy and very charming.

Honeystore Lady's Mermaid Pearl Czech Diamond Ear Cuff for right ear

It arrived packaged nicely in a blue jewelry box that would make a lovely gift wrapping. It's stylish and perfect for fans of mythology and mermaids.

Honeystore Men's Titanium Steel Rolo Chain Cross Necklace
This is a very nice titanium steel necklace! Looks and feels very high-end. It's solid looking and comes with a good-length chain (almost 20 inches) that is just as fashionable as the pendant itself. I really like the contrast between the shiny silver color of titanium steel and the black color of the cross shape - it looks very chic and modern!

The black shape of the cross has more of a matte finish, it's not glossy at all, but that actually works out great. I don't think the necklace would look half as good with a sparkly pendant.

Quality wise, the necklace is very well-made, sturdy and comfortable to wear. The pendant is just the perfect size, it doesn't feel heavy on your neck. The necklace comes in a beautiful signature box that is just perfect if you want to purchase this jewelry piece as a gift. It's very pretty is guaranteed to make a great impression!

Subscription Box Review: The Fandom of the Month Club

https://fandomofthemonth.cratejoy.com/#
www.FandomOfTheMonth.com  https://www.facebook.com/Fandomofthemonth/timeline?ref=page_internal  https://instagram.com/fandomofthemonthclub/?hl=en

I don't recall when I first heard of The Fandom of the Month Club, but when I did I needed it! They were a relatively new monthly subscription box, but the jewelry they picked for each themed box was stunning and "general" enough that if you weren't a fan of that months fandom you could still wear the pieces but also specific enough to let your nerd pride show.

When my mother asked for Easter gift ideas (yeah, I still get gifts at Easter don't be a hater) I asked for a three month subscription to The Fandom of the Month Club. And oh buddy is it awesome!

The Fandom of the Month Club, a montlhy subscription club providing fabulous fandom inspired jewelry, is run by Erin from The Geeky Cauldron. Each shipment is handpicked for quality, valued at over $30, and contains 3-4 pieces. Subscriptions start at $13.00 (plus shipping) for one month or you can save by signing up for a 3, 6, or 12 month subscription. Your subscription is automatically renewed upon exploitation, but you are able to opt instead of renewing if you choose.

Previous fandoms include Star Wars, Dr. Who, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Divergent, and The Chronicles of Narnia. They do repeat fandoms so if you're favorite has already been chosen don't worry - it'll come around again. Even better, even when the fandoms duplicate the items are never the same.

The Fandom of the Month Club originally began sending out their products in envelopes, but as their subscription count grew they were able to upgrade to these adorable boxes.

Picture from The Fandom of the Month Club's Facebook page
But really, it's what inside the holds all the magic . . .

April - Harry Potter

And we've already started off with a win! One of their first fandoms, Harry Potter made a comeback with some super adorable items. The owl ring is so cute (oh Hedwig) and I love the feather necklace - I have gotten many compliments on it - and on the back "wingardium leviosa" is stamped. So that right there, perfect! I'm not a big fan of gold, but these golden snitch earrings are spot on. Like, really. You can't get much better than . . . hey, look at that Deathly Hallows key chain. Is that a square from a real Harry Potter book!? It is! (Don't worry, Erin reassured us that the books these came from were already damaged.)

May - Lord of the Rings

I didn't stay off Instgram as well as I should have prior to receiving May's box so I was spoiled as to it's contents, which softened the blow a bit when it came to opening the box. That sounded harsh, didn't it? I'm just not a huge Lord of the Rings fan, that's all. But that's what happens with these monthly subscription boxes. You won't always get something your the biggest fan of, but that's okay. As I said, these jewelry pieces picked don't scream Lord of the Rings - well, maybe the Hobbit door and Elvis written on the bracelet but those aspects are still subtle enough for me that I will still plan on wearing them. And because I'm not hugely into this series, I'm not sure what the tree on the earring symbolize, but I still think they're rather fun!

June - Once Upon A Time

And here it is. My last box and the box to end my subscription on. When I first opened the box as saw the Fandom of the Month post card I thought "Great, another fandom I don't know. Boo." I couldn't figure out fandom this was for. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings were easy and obvious. So I finally gave and unwrapped the tissue paper to find the Sand Sink bag . . . and promptly lost. My. Shit.

You don't even know.

This is the beauty of subscription boxes. You may get a fandom you like, you may get a fandom you're eh about, but you also may get one that you have an unhealthy obsession with. And on top of that, they pieces are freaking gorgeous. I love this ring, I love the mini Once Upon A Time story book, and I have an obsession with this bracelet. I promptly showed these pieces to my husband and told him what each charm on this bracelet symbolized and he nodded along like he cared and was truly interested in my gushing (which made me love him more).

Overall

I highly recommend The Fandom of the Month. You search the hashtag on Instagram to view all their past boxes and know in confidence that each box is unique and each piece of jewelry is carefully selected to be versatile to everybody. Plus, for $13 a month (plus shipping), it really is a great deal, especially considering the value of the pieces you receive. Plus, you're helping out a small business so you really cannot argue against it.

Fashion Review and Giveaway: Bamoer Jewelry

I recently got the opportunity to try on and review some of the beautiful jewelry pieces from Bamoer. They have some really affordable but absolutely stunning looking jewelry pieces and I was thrilled to be able to wear some of them! They quickly became my favorite, go-to pieces for both casual and more dressy looks.

Today I get to share my reviews of the three jewelry pieces I received and host a contest for you! Who doesn't love a little bling-bling in their life? :)

These are absolutely gorgeous. So beautiful and well-made (very detailed and complex). They are very pretty and sparkly. I love wearing them, they give me this really girly, glamorous look. Size wise, they're not too big, so they don't look tacky, but they're just the right size to be noticeable - especially when light is reflecting off of them. I have light brown hair, so they really stand out against them. People have been complimenting me ever since I started wearing these. I am absolutely in love with these earrings - I wear them all the time! Probably one of the prettiest earrings I have ever received for review, and I did get quite a lot of them!

Rose Gold Plated Bracelet
Absolutely stunning! This bracelet is very sparkly and spectacular-looking. It's so shiny, you can see it from across the street, especially on a sunny day! If you like to wear some extra bling-bling to compliment your outfit, you will love this piece of jewelry.
I think it's very well made. The Zirconia stones are diamond shaped, and together with the beautiful, warm gold plated bracelet they create a very glamorous look.

I've seen other buyers complain about the clasp - personally I did not have any problems with it. You need to lift the side of it gently with your nail, and then you just slide the clasp out. It's actually a pretty easy-to-handle design.

I really enjoy wearing this bracelet!

White Gold Plated Necklace (Cubic Zirconia)
I really love this necklace. The simple, classic design is so girly and delicate! It's also very light-weight, so I often forget I even have it on. The chain is perfect length - you can adjust it slightly for just the right fit. I like to have the necklace resting just below my collar bone, where it's well visible. It's super sparkly and adds this extra pop to my outfits, no matter if it's a regular every-day jeans and blouse look, or an evening dress. This necklace works great with just about any type of look!

I am very impressed with the quality of this necklace. I wear it with the matching Zirconia earrings. It's one of my favorite pieces of jewelry.
