Well, I've read 21 books (almost halfway!) for this challenge already, so I won't go into ALL of them, but I have read some really good ones. So far my favorites have been:

Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
The Hallowed Ones by Laura Bickle
Barbie Girl by Heidi Acosta
Eve & Adam by Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate

Alina P said...

I'm reading (over :D) 50, and completed 9 of them.
I really liked: Vampires in America series, read only the first 2 books, but it's great!
Also liked an erotic romantic series I found out.

I have a question: if I only read ebooks, how can I complete the challenge?

First of: WAY TO GO, GUYS!!! You're doing so well this year!! :) So proud of you *hugs everyone*

@Aly - you can write the titles down on a piece of paper and then take a picture of it, would that work for you? :)

@Biondy, the review can be in any other language, too :) Or you can just write a short paragraph in English on Goodreads or Amazon and it will count as well! :)

@Kathryn, good point! I was half dead when posting this yesterday hahaha, it's all fixed now, thanks for pointing it out!

Happy reading all! :)

So far I have done rubbish and have only read 1 book (Going Too Far by Jennifer Echols) but I am also reading another now and should finish it in January.

Amy said...

Wow, you are all doing fantastic. Evie awesome job! I haven't read any yet, but I set my goal at the lowest since I failed last year. This is the only challenge I signed up for this year besides my GR reading challenge because my focus this year is to read more of what I want when I want. So far I am failing at that too lol. I take on too many review books and tours.

mk said...

I've read 5 books so far but there's still time till the end for the month so I will read more...
And so far I've read:
1.Last Breath (The Morganville Vampires, #11) by Rachel Caine
2.Spell Bound (Hex Hall trilogy, #3) by Rachel Hawkins
3.Black Dagger Brotherhood: An Insider Guide by J.R. Ward
4.Heartless (Pretty Little Liars, #7) by Sara Shepard
5.Pride Mates (Shifters Unbound, #1) by Jennifer Ashley

And they were all pretty great. Especially Pride Mates which I just finished and I'm absolutely in love with it.

Alysia said...

I have read 2 books so far and "Liked" them both.
(reviewed)The Hairdresser of Harare
(review coming soon)Even the Stars Look Lonesome
I think I will be doing 2 month. Or at least that is the plan.

Monica said...

Only read one so far. The perks of being a wallflower. LOVED it!!

Unknown said...

I read only one book so far, which is fine, because my goal was 1 or 2books a month.
The book was Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter. It was a really great book.

Bonnie said...

Evie, that is impressive! I finished 3, but have 3 more on the go that will be finished by the end of the month. Less reading time since Nick went back to work and I am sorely outnumbered! ;)

Sabryy said...

Evie, I wrote 2 reviews in my natal language, romanian. I hope it's all right.:)

Sabryy said...

Oh, and I've read:
1. Finding Alice
2. Harry Potter 5
3. Harry Potter 6
4. Ordinary Magic
I loved all of them! <3

I've only managed to read 2 so far because I've mostly been reading review books - The Perfect Hope by Nora Roberts and The Demon Lover by Juliet Dark. They were both really good!

Evie it would be perfect, or, if you want, I could make a collage of the covers.

I read Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick and Team Human. Finale put me into my first reading slump, EVER, and Team Human got me out of it.

I've read 2 books so far, a bit of a slow start, but that's alright :)
I read Nice Girls don't have Fangs by Molly Harper and The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox (review to come), they were both great reads and funny too.

I've read 11 books so far, which is pretty good in my book :D They are:

THE PLEDGE by Kimberly Derting
TIME BETWEEN US by Tamara Ireland Stone
SEEDS OF WAR by Rachel E. Fisher
SECRET OF THE SONGSHELL by Brian Tashima
NORMALISH by Margaret Lesh
INDIGO AWAKENING by Jordan Dane
PRETTY AMY by Lisa Burstein
SO CLOSE TO YOU by Rachel Carter
THROUGH TO YOU by Emily Hainsworth
SCARLET WOODS by Brooke Passmore

So far, liking them was like 50-50 for me. I liked THE PLEDGE, TIME BETWEEN US, SEEDS OF WAR, SECRET OF THE SONGSHELL, NORMALISH, and PRETTY AMY, but I didn't like INDIGO AWAKENING, SO CLOSE TO YOU, SCARLET WOODS, or THROUGH TO YOU as much. I also read TIGER LILY, INCARNATE, and IF I STAY but I haven't had a chance to review them yet! Currently I'm also reading WINGS OF ARIAN (:

I have read 6 books as of now, I am trying to get through all the series and trilogies I have.
So far I'm almost done the Vampire Academy series.

Victoria Hooper said...

I've read two so far! The Red Knight, by K.T. Davies, which was a really good epic fantasy, avoiding a lot of the more annoying cliches of the genre. And The Case of the Good-Looking Corpse, by Caroline Lawrence, which is a children's mystery Western. That was amazing! :-)

Oh, and here is my Book Spine Poem :-)

This is my first time doing this challenge so I am still learning.

I just finished Joy for Beginners by Joy Bauermeister. I loved it!

Aleksandra said...

I read 5 books this month & liked them all quite a lot: I gave Kresley Cole's Poison Princess & Isaac Asimov's Foundation 4 of 5 rating, Kimberly Pauley's Sucks to Be Me 4.5 of 5 rating & I gave Marissa Meyer's Cinder & Alice Clayton's Wallbanger 5 of 5 rating, so pretty great picks this month from my TBR :D

But, I only reviewed 2 of them, so I have a question, Evie - when I'll review the other 3 (which I plan to do these days) should I link them up here? Because I've read them in January, but I would've reviewed them in February.

I also plan to do the mini challenge soon, I love book spine poems :)

And how did you like Warm Bodies? It's one of my favs, I loved it even more when I re-read it a few months ago :)

Unknown said...

So far I've only read 5 (almost 6) of the 30 I plan to read.

I hunt Killers by Barry Lyga
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson
This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers
The Lost Days by Rob Reger
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

I've only reviewed 1 but hopefully another one is coming up soon! I loved Under the Never Sky so that review is most likely going to be next.

This challenge is so fun!!! :)

I read A Tangle of Knots and The Van Alen Legacy, I enjoyed both fairly well I am still having a love hate relationship with the blue blood series though

Jessica @ a GREAT read said...

I dived into my TBR pile this month since for the two weeks I was unemployed. Knocked a good 12 books out total for the month! I started with choosing ones like The Golden Lily since the new book comes out soon. Then I went further back to ones like One Bite with a Stranger and even a one day read of What a Ghoul Wants!

Really I was kind of randomly picking books, grabbing ones I have had for too long, but there's still lots of old ones in those piles!

Ella said...

I've read only 3 books for January, I'm a really slow reader xD I read Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout and loved it! Can't wait to start book 2! I also finally finished up Witch Song by Amber Argyle, it was an alright book, it took me months to finish because I think I kept putting it down for other books. I also just read First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones and I definitely can't wait to continue this one! Loved it!

Marked By Books said...

I've read six books so far for this challenge, and my favorite would have to be Blood Shadows by Lindsay J. Pryor. I also really liked The Stone Guardian by Theresa McClinton, who also just so happens to be one of the nicest authors I've ever had the pleasure of talking to!

I've only read 8 books for the month of January from the books I listed for the TBR Pile Challenge but I just reviewed 2 since I still haven't got time but I'm planning to review all of them when I'm not so busy already. :)

1. City of Bones
2. City of Ashes
3. City of Glass
4. City of Fallen Angels
5. City of Lost Souls
6. Existence

Wait ... that's only 6?! O.o Oh my gosh! I'm wrong, I just only read 6 books. Sheesh. So stupid of me to miscount.

I'm not a fast reader, but I HAVE completed two books. I have reviews written, but they're not posted yet. They're coming soon, though! I finished Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson and The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. I'm also almost done with The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan. So many books!
