IMM - In My Mailbox (#25)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Story Siren

The purpose of it is to post about the books we received during the past week (ARC, electronic galleys, books won in giveaways, bought or borrowed from the library - you can list anything you want!)
This mailbox accounts for little over a month worth of books :) Yes, I continue to be lazy and refuse  to do my mailbox posts every week - I am horrible, I know!

It's been a very eventful and exciting month! First, I went to The Launch Party for Above by Leah Bobet where I met Bonnie from Words at Home for the first time (she is so AWESOME, I love her!!!) and got a signed copy of Above (which is absolutely fabulous).

Then I was invited to Penguin Canada HQ for an invite-only book event to celebrate the release of Gurjinder Basran's Everything Was Good-Bye. I had so much fun mingling with the Toronto Bloggettes and listening to Gurjinder talk about her book and writing process.

Finally, just a few days ago, I attended YA Blogger Event at Random House Canada! I met John Boyne (squeeee!), Teresa Toten, Eric Walters and Shane Peacock, got plenty of amazing books (some of them signed), and finally met the wonderful Lindsey (Random House CA publicist) and even got a hug (I love you Lindsey!). It was sooooo fun!

Next few weeks are going to be no less exciting! On April 19th I am planning to attend the Razorbill Launch Event at the local Chapters! I will meet three absolutely fabulous authors: Lesley Livingston (who is always gorgeous and sweet!), Charles de Lindt and Jay Asher. How exciting is that?! PRETTY EXCITING indeed! I will also meet up with Bonnie and give her the goodie bag I got for her at the YA Blogger Event at RHC :)

And at the end of the month we will have a triple birthday party! YAY! We will be celebrating the birthdays of Michele (Just A Lil' Lost), Liz (Midnight Bloom) and Liam (who I haven't met yet but am definitely excited to!). Can't wait!!!

Now, onto the books!

So many books!!! How do you even get so many for review? I have no idea where to look.. I only found places where you can receive ebooks or pdf's and i'm not a big fan of reading on computer, i like to actually hold the book.
Do you have any advice where should I look for books to review?

Seriously Evie, what a fantastic mailbox, I don't even know where to begin. Except for maybe what rock have I been living under??? My favourite book ever has been made into a board book? I am buying this as soon as I see it - how awesome would it be if I could read Jane Eyre every night at bedtime!

Evie, I am so excited to see you at the signing this week *squee* and I am so happy that March/April have been so good to you! :D Although I hate to point out the obvious, your hubby might not be thrilled about all the new additions! ;) AND... you're welcome again for the kindle cover I am thrilled that you love it so much!
