Cover Reveal: Snakeroot by Andrea Cremer [Nightshade #4]

Yesterday the folks at Bookish shared with us the fabulous looking cover of Andrea Cremer's upcoming novel, Snakeroot, and boy, is it gorgeous!

Personally, I'm stoked to hear about this intriguing new addition to the Nightshade world, even though I was not at all pleased by the ending of Bloodrose. Andrea Cremer seems to be exploring new paths, though, as she already proved in Rift and Rise (prequels to the Nightshade series), which were absolutely wonderful!

Here is what Andrea herself says about Snakeroot:  " 'Snakeroot' focuses on Adne's struggles to adjust to the post-Witches War world of the Searchers. She's plagued by disturbing dreams and visions, all of which draw her to the gardens of Rowan Estate. The cover image perfectly depicts the way in which Adne has become entangled by her own turbulent emotions and an encroaching dark magic."

Now, I'd like to hear how you feel about the new book set in the Nightshade world? :) Are you excited? Not interested? Annoyed? (I know some of you are!). I'd love to hear your thoughts! How do you like the cover? Comment away! :)

Snakeroot will be published in December!

I'm more like between annoyed and happy. I didn't like how she ended Bloodrose, and I'm really not looking forward to Snakeroot, though I did like Adne. I guess, time will tell.

Aman, I agree about the ending of Bloodrose, I really hated it! It was nothing but an easy way out for Calla, and ugh.. don't even get me started on Ren!
I am, however, interested to see what else Andrea will come up with. I really loved Rift and am quite curious to read more about the world of Nightshade.

I have yet to read Bloodrose because of all the negativity. Scares me a little. Honestly, I haven't had any interest in any of the others books in the Nightshade world either. That could change though. Pretty cover :)

I think I am kind of neutral on my thoughts. I am interested to see where it will go, and it's Adne's book and not Calla's so I think there will be a much different feel to it even though it's continuing the series.

I am interested in getting into the Nightshade series. This new book sounds amazing and so those Adne.

So should I start reading Rift before the 1st book? Can I read Rift and skip right to Snakeroot?
