In My Mailbox (#18)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Story Siren

The purpose of it is to post about the books we received during the past week (ARC, electronic galleys, books won in giveaways, bought or borrowed from the library - you can list anything you want!)

This was quite an eventful week book-wise! (well, to be precise, this post accounts for 2 weeks).
First, I met up with the wonderful (and made of awesome) Nicole from All I Ever Read and we went book shopping (I consider Nicole to be bad influence :P). Then, there was the fabulous Launch Party for Megan Crewe's new book, The Way We Fall. Finally,  just two days ago, I attended the Razorbill Launch Party

I had a lot of fun hanging out with the lovely Toronto blogger ladies (Nicole, Michele, Wendy, Christa, Sarah and Angel) and am looking forward to meeting up with them again!

Now, onto the books!

On Saturday (February 4th) was the Launch Party for The Way We Fall by Megan Crewe. The event took place at Bakka-Phoenix bookstore in downtown Toronto. I had the pleasure of attending the party (together with the wonderful Toronto blogger ladies: Michele from Just A Lil' Lost , Wendy from A Cupcake and a Latte, Christa from Hooked on Books, Sarah from Geek Girl’s Book Blog, Angel from Mermaid Visions and Brenna from Ever After Esther) and had a fabulous time listening to Megan Crewe talk about her inspiration for writing The Way We Fall, and reading an excerpt from it.

Above are the goodies that were up for grabs! I especially love the hand sanitizer - how awesome brilliant is that! (In case you don't know, The Way We Fall is about a virus outbreak)

Megen was super nice!
Here's my signed copy:

And a picture with the fabulous author!

On Wednesday I attended The Razorbill Launch Party. I was lucky enough to win a Razorbill T-Shirt and scored a finished copy of Jay Asher's Thirteen Reasons Why
A full recap will be posted soon!

And here's a picture with the lovely Leslie Livingston!

That's all I got. How about you? What did you get in your mailbox? Leave a comment and I'll drop by! :)

So many awesome books this week!!!!!! I love seeing both GRACELING and INCARNATE in the pile because they're my two favorite fantasy novels! I've borrowed AMONG OTHERS from the library 2 or 3 times now. Since it's finally in paperback, maybe I'll just buy it... I'm trying so hard to hold off on my copy of OF POSEIDON, but I don't know how much longer I can wait! I have to read A MILLION SUNS this week before meeting Beth Revis on the 19th, ahhh! You have so many great books. Enjoy them all! I love the way they packaged TEH WAY WE FALL for you! The Launch Party sounds so much fun. Glad you enjoyed it!
