My favorite banned book is Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland while my favorite challenged book is Laurie Halse Anderson's Speak. :) There are so many great books out there, we shouldn't be denied the chance to read any of them. Thank you for this giveaway!

I remember a book which was banned for years in USSR where I grew up, and I still love it to bits. It's The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.
I didn't even know some of those were banned!! I loved the Hunger Games. Before that my favorite banned book was DaVinci Code.

So many books have been banned, it's hard to choose! But I'll go with Fahrenheit 451 as well, because of the irony of banning a book about book banning!

Boy's Life - Robert McCammon.
I loved "Alice in Wonderland" and "A Wrinkle in Time" (read both when I was a kid and was sad to see them on the banned book list). I'm also a big fan of Shakespeare and I know several of his plays were banned at certain points (including one of my favs "The Merchant of Venice"). Two more banned "classic" books that I enjoyed when I read them in high school were "To Kill a Mockingbird" and "1984".

I'm counted The Body of Christopher Creed as my favorite banned book - I'm not sure if anyone's actually banned it, but it was removed from my state's Battle of the Books list one year in middle school.

My favorite is The Perks of Being A Wallflower. :D Too bad my boyfriend got juice all over the bottom of the pages. It's practically ruined for me and he just doesn't understand that even if it's just a stain, it's not in good condition anymore. :( Anyways, thanks for the giveaway!

I've read all the books in the crank series except for the newest one (they can all be read seperately for those who don't know) and love them all! They are so real-that is the best part

I've actually read that the Twilight Books are considered banned books because of the whatever miniscule presence of sexual content/tension and some religious implications **shrugs** I don't know, but I like em, and more than likely you read it already =) And Harry Potter was motioned as a banned/challenge book too =P
But one book that I've been meaning to read is 'Go Ask Alice' by Beatrice Sparks

Great selection of books. It was hard to choose one. I love your blog too,t he header is quite gorgeous. My favorite banned/challenged book would be, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. I read it in middle school at a time when I really needed it as a teenager. One of my all time favs.

The first book I ever realized was banned was Lord of the flies. My Favorite banned book that I currently know of would be Alice in Wonderland. The things people find to complain about is just getting ridiculous!
